Plinth blocks are also known as architrave blocks and skirting blocks, they are fitted at the base of your architraves, where they meet the skirting boards. Many designers also choose to install them on corners for a more decorative and ornate finish, whilst preventing the need for mitre cuts.
Traditionally, plinth blocks have been used to hide imperfections such as gaps in the floor and disparities in thickness between trims, However, today they are more commonly used as decorative elements that create flush and seamless transitions between skirting boards and architraves.
Our range offers modern plinth blocks, constructed from moisture-resistant MDF, whilst also suiting traditional interiors. The bevelled edge on the Plinth Block P1 is a versatile feature which adapts to modern and traditional styles. The Plinth Block P2 features a single chamfered face and a minimalist profile, suited towards modern and contemporary spaces.
