Plinth blocks are also known as architrave blocks and skirting blocks, they are fitted at the base of your architraves, where they meet the skirting boards. Many designers also choose to install them on corners for a more decorative and ornate finish, whilst preventing the need for mitre cuts.
Traditionally, plinth blocks have been used to hide imperfections such as gaps in the floor and disparities in thickness between trims, However, today they are more commonly used as decorative elements that create flush and seamless transitions between skirting boards and architraves.

Our plinth blocks are machined from high-quality, moisture-resistant MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard). This is a composite of wood fibres and resin, compressed to create a highly machinable and smooth material, perfect for interior trims.
Installing plinth and rosette blocks is a breeze and a quick DIY job. Plinth blocks are to be fitted at the base of your architrave, like a foundation, and the skirting board butts up against it. Use adhesive to secure to the wall. Rosette blocks are similarly fitted at the top of the architrave lengths, joining your left and right architraves with your top architrave, also using adhesive to secure them to the wall and architraves.
