Our MDF Plinth Block P1 is a stand-out option for those seeking to make a big impression. The versatile design means that this Plinth Block is well-suited to complement any of our Skirting Boards and Architraves.
The MDF Plinth Block P1 is a contemporary take on traditional design, offering a versatile option to draw attention to your doorways. Featuring a characteristic bevelled design along the top and edges, whilst maintaining a square edge along the bottom to sit flush with the floor.
Plinth Blocks often sit higher than the Skirting Boards and are wider than the Architrave. However, this is a personal preference! Many of our customers choose a Plinth that sits closer to the height and width of the Skirting and Architrave to better suit their design choices.
Generally, Plinth blocks must be thicker than the Skirting and Architrave – For instance, If the Skirting/Architrave are 18mm thick, the Plinth Block should be 25mm thick at least!
Please also bear in mind that the Plinth Block must not be shorter/less wide than the Skirting and Architrave.
