Our Lambs Tongue 1 MDF Skirting is now manufactured using Premium Moisture Resistant HDF
Lambs Tongue 1 Skirting is a traditional style skirting board, best fitting in medium sizes such as 120mm - 170mm. The Lambs Tongue 1 profile is very common in the UK, a popular choice for homeowners with traditionally styled homes.
The signature element in the Lambs Tongue design is the large curve followed by the quarter round, creating the highly sought after wave-like pattern.
Lambs Tongue Skirting is called Lambs Tongue simply due to the original designs resemblance to a Lambs tongue, although design iterations to the design over time have enhanced it beyond this, giving it subtle depth and projection to create bolder highlights/shadows, allowing Lambs Tongue to be a statement piece in British homes.
The Lambs Tongue profile doesn't feature any concave indentations (inwardly curved) elements, making it a breeze to clean and keep dust-free!

Lambs Tongue 1 MDF Skirting is manufactured using our premium HDF material. You can rest assured that you are purchasing a hard-wearing and long lasting board when you select our HDF skirting. Also, you won't have to deal with imperfections such as knots, splintering and cracks that are present in natural timber (softwood).
We also offer Lambs Tongue 1 Skirting in Pine and Lambs Tongue 1 Architrave to match in MDF or Pine.
The picture depicts a 150mm high skirting board. The design never changes size so the plain part of the skirting will decrease and increase as you change the height of the board.

Size: Product sold in 3050mm and 4200mm lengths in sizes 70mm - 400mm (heights). Thicknesses available are 15mm, 18mm and 25mm.
Finish: The primed finish will require an undercoat and final paint finish. The undercoated finish may require a final paint finish.
Rebate: Rebate option is available for an easy-fix cable management solution for hiding surface wiring or pipe work (20mm wide x 10mm deep cut-out at the base of the rear of the board).
