What is chamfered skirting? +
Chamfered skirting has an angled edge that slopes back from the top of the board to the wall. It gives a clean, simple line where the wall meets the floor, which suits both traditional and modern rooms.
What is the difference between the chamfered profiles? +
Chamfer is the plain single-angle profile and our best seller. Chamfer Round softens that angle with a small rounded step. Grooved 1 Chamfered adds a single groove line below the chamfer for a little extra detail.
Is chamfered skirting available in MDF and pine? +
Yes. Every chamfered profile comes in moisture-resistant MDF, primed ready for painting, or in natural softwood pine. MDF machines cleanly and resists humidity in bathrooms and kitchens, while pine offers a natural timber alternative.
What sizes does chamfered skirting come in? +
Heights from 70mm up to 400mm, in 15mm, 18mm and 25mm thicknesses, and 3050mm or 4200mm lengths. Every board is machined to your specification after you order. Work out how much you need with our skirting board calculator.
Can I paint chamfered skirting? +
