Our Grooved 1 Square MDF Skirting is now manufactured using Premium Moisture Resistant HDF
Grooved 1 Square skirting is part of our Grooved design collection. The groove adds definition to the design whilst the square top edge gives it a modern and sharp finish.
The Grooved 1 Square profile also creates a shadow gap/line effect on your skirting boards with the recessed groove running along the top. To further pronounce this effect, you can also paint the groove a darker shade.
In modern and contemporary interiors, the Groove 1 Skirting Board also offers a channel to host thin LED strip lighting. This skirting board has a single groove, with a 6mm depth and 6mm height, allowing for the integration of LED lighting.

Our Grooved 1 Square MDF Skirting is manufactured using our premium HDF material. You can rest assured that you are purchasing a hard-wearing and long lasting board when you select our HDF skirting. Also, you won't have to deal with imperfections such as knots, splintering and cracks that are present in natural timber (softwood).

The picture depicts a 150mm high skirting board. The design never changes size so the plain part of the skirting will decrease and increase as you change the height of the board.
Details:
Profile Size: 6mm x 6mm groove starting 20mm from top of board, square top edge
Size: Product sold in 3050mm and 4200mm lengths in sizes 70mm - 400mm (heights). Thicknesses available are 15mm, 18mm and 25mm.
Finish: The primed finish will require an undercoat and final paint finish. The undercoated finish may require a final paint finish.
Rebate: Rebate option is available for an easy-fix cable management solution for hiding surface wiring or pipe work (20mm wide x 10mm deep cut-out at the base of the rear of the board).
