15mm Grooved MDF Architrave in 18mm HDF

Our 15mm Grooved MDF Architrave is now manufactured using Premium Moisture Resistant HDF

15mm Grooved architrave is a contemporary and simple design which best suits a modern environment. When matched with the skirting it creates a seamless look around the entire room (or house!).

Because the 15mm Grooved design doesn't feature much detailing, it's a very easy architrave to keep clean!

You're currently viewing 15mm Grooved MDF Architrave which is manufactured using our premium HDF material. You can rest assured that you are purchasing a hard-wearing and long lasting board when you select our HDF architrave. Also, you won't have to deal with imperfections such as knots, splintering and cracks that are present in natural timber (softwood).

We also produce this design in Pine - just search the design name and chosen material in the search box to find the one you're looking for.

The picture depicts a 70mm wide architrave. The design never changes size so the plain part of the architrave will decrease and increase as you change the width of the board.

Profile Size: 15mm wide x 5mm deep groove starting approx. 20mm from top.

This measurement reflects how thick you want the material to be. The standard for most customers is 18mm and generally the skirting boards and architrave would be the same thickness (sometimes, the architrave is thicker to create a feature).

Width

For architrave, this measurement reflects how wide it will be (from the edge of the door outwards). For door frames, it is how wide the inside of the doorway is (where the frame will sit). For plinth blocks and rosettes, this measurement should ideally be larger than that of the architrave.
