We are now offering a lifetime guarantee on all of our MDF products - we know they're made to last! Our High Density Moisture Resistant MDF has been handpicked by our experienced team to ensure our finished products will meet the high expectations of our customers.
This includes our MDF Skirting Boards, MDF Architraves, MDF Window Boards, MDF Plinth Blocks, MDF Rosette Blocks and MDF Door Frames.
What We Mean By 'Lifetime'
We call it a lifetime guarantee because our guarantee lasts a significant amount of time - a whole 25 years! We're so confident in our product that we're happy to offer this length of guarantee for absolutely nothing!
How To Claim
In the highly unlikely event that you need to pursue a claim for an MDF product you purchased from us, get in touch with us straight away by email or phone. We will be able to advise you whether it is a product fault or faulty installation.
Our Guarantee
For a product that has been found to be defective, we will replace (at our discretion) the product like for like. To be covered by the guarantee, all products must be professionally installed (proof will be required). All products must be installed for there intended purpose ie. skirting boards are installed at the base of a wall, architraves must be installed around an internal door. Products must be purchased and installed within the United Kingdom only to be covered. The guarantee only applies to the original purchaser or end user and only the delivery address recorded on the order. The guarantee takes effect from the date of purchase and is non-transferable. The following is not covered by our guarantee: damage caused by or during fitting, malicious damage, accidental damage, damage due to prolonged exposure to sunlight / UV light / water / moisture, improper use and negligence, general wear and tear that is expected, damage due to improper installation. The original proof of purchase and proof of current address must be presented for us to be able to consider any claim.
Skirting World reserve the right to make any changes or alterations to this guarantee at any point at their discretion. Up to the date the changes or alterations are made, Skirting World will honour the existing commitments in accordance with the terms set out here. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Guarantee Exclusions
- Fire damage
- Flooding
- Excessive water damage ie. constantly in contact with moisture (eg. wet room)
- Act of God
- Damage due to: improper installation, accidental, malicious, during fitting, prolonged exposure to sunlight / UV light / water / moisture / improper use, negligence, general wear and tear
